She fights to save her sister Serah, and wields a weapon called Blaze Edge, which combines the functions of a sword and a gun.
• Snow Villiers <br>The leader of the youth group "Nora" and the fiancé of Lightning's younger sister, Serah. He is a hot-blooded man with a positive outlook, but he often acts without thinking about the consequences, which sometimes leads to conflicts with Lightning. He is skilled in bare-handed combat.
• Sazh Katzroy <br>A gentle, tearful, and sensible middle-aged man. He has a chocobo chick living in his distinctive afro and fights with two pistols. He was formerly an elite pilot who served as the captain of a large airship on long-distance routes.
• Oerba Dia Vanille <br>A girl with twin tails, she is from the lower world (Pulse). With her bright and honest expression, she is the type who cheers up those around her, but she harbors a deep secret. She also plays an important role as the narrator of the story.

  A 14-year-old boy who fights using a boomerang as his weapon, his fate changes dramatically when the Holy See purges him.
