◇Underground Duchy

Based in underground burrows, the Principality seeks to bring order to the chaotic Woodlands. Their strength lies in the organization of large armies and their ability to dig underground tunnels, which allow them to suddenly appear in any clearing on the map.

The expansion of a principality's power is achieved through the construction of Markets and Citadels, and it is important to gain the support of the political ministers. To attract ministers, you must reveal a card from your hand that corresponds to a clearing in which you are located. The more ministers you have, the more actions you can perform each turn.

However, losing a building may result in the highest ranking minister stepping down and forcing you to discard your hand, so strategic decisions are required.

◇Corvid Conspiracy

Armed with cunning and deceit, the Crow Clan manipulates the forest and seeks to rule through fear. Their operations are highly secretive, making it difficult for other factions to discern their true plans.

The Crow Clan's unique feature is their Plots. They place different types of Plots on clearings on the map, turning the area into a dangerous zone. There are four types of Plots: raids, bombs, extortion, and snares. If these Plots are carried out successfully, the Crow Clan will become more and more powerful.

The only way to counter this is for another player to correctly guess the ploy, which, if guessed correctly, exposes and removes the ploy at no cost.

Two new maps offer even more strategic options

◇Mountain Map

Set in a rugged mountainous region, the map requires players to traverse outcroppings, clear blocked routes, and secure mountain passes. Factions earn points by clearing pathways, and additional victory points are awarded for controlling the central "pass" clearing.

◇Lake Map

This map is centered around a lake, and ferries allow for efficient movement around the map. However, you will need to detour around water, so choosing the right route is key to your strategy.
