Fit to Print is a breaking news themed tile-placement puzzle game set in a charming world of woodland animals.
Created by designer Peter McPherson and illustrator Ian O'Toole, this is an original board game that the whole family can enjoy.

Game world and theme

Players take on the role of an editor at a local newspaper and write about the various events that occur in the building where forest animals live.
From the winner of the local festival bakeoff to who dug up Mrs. Brambleberry's carrot patch, we follow the big stories in our little forest.
Become the most newsworthy editor by publishing various everyday events involving adorable animals on the front page of your newspaper.

Game progression and mechanics

The basic mode of "Fit to Print" runs in real time.
Players simultaneously collect newspaper tiles and stack them on their desks.
Once you think you have all the tiles you need, declare "layout!" and begin carefully planning the placement of your front page articles, photos, advertisements, and centerpieces.
Once all the tiles are perfectly placed, declare "Print!"
The player who finishes printing first will be given the first chance to choose the centerpiece to use in the next round.
This hectic spatial puzzle will take place over three days (three rounds) and ultimately determine the most newsworthy editor.
Each round brings new breaking news, offering new puzzles to tackle every time you play.

Various game modes

For players who aren't comfortable with real-time gameplay, Fit to Print offers several alternative modes:

Slow Mode

Players take turns drafting tiles from the shared market and placing them on their front page.
This mode, with no time limit, places more emphasis on strategic thinking and planning.

Puzzle Mode

This mode involves using a specific tile set to determine the layout that will earn you the highest score.
This is a must-play game for puzzle lovers, as you have to use your brain carefully to find the optimal arrangement.

These modes allow you to enjoy relaxing puzzles solo or frenetic action with up to six players.
