[Marine Animals and Aquariums]
Introducing a whole new animal category: Sea Animals.
Sea animals, represented by the octopus icon, are primarily kept in aquariums.
There are two types of aquariums: small (2 spaces) and large (5 spaces), and they are built adjacent to water.
Each player can only build one of each size.
Some marine animals can be kept in standard enclosures or reptile houses, while others require adjacent water or rocky areas.
[University System and Action Cards]
Six new university tiles will be added to be placed on the new Association Board.
Placing a university earns you a research icon and an animal icon, allowing you to add matching cards from your deck to your hand.
Only one player can claim a University tile each round, giving you more strategic options for developing your zoo.
Each of the original five action cards has four alternate versions, which are selected in a draft format.
[New Game Mechanics]
Some sea animals are "reef dwellers" and have coral icons.
Playing these will trigger the abilities of all Leaf Dwellers in your zoo.
Each time a card with the "Wave Icon" is revealed on the display, the first card is discarded and a new card is replenished.
