During Ran's karate tournament, Shinichi leaves to solve a murder case in high society.

To make up for it, Shinichi invites Ran on a special date to the colorful amusement park "Tropical Land." However, another murder occurs there. While investigating the case, Shinichi encounters a mysterious organization in black who force the genius detective to take an unknown drug in an attempt to discreetly silence him.

When Shinichi comes to his senses, he finds that he has shrunk so much that even the police cannot recognize him. With his new identity as Conan Edogawa, Shinichi sets out on a quest for justice, truth, and a way to return to his original form.
