Tapestry is a strategic board game that weaves the history of civilization.

A magnificent historical picture scroll that lets you create your own civilization

"Tapestry" is a civilization-building board game in which you build your own unique civilization, from the dawn of humanity to the future.
Players aim to create the most prosperous civilization by weaving a glorious history that sets them apart from other civilizations.

Skillfully manipulating the four axes of civilization development

The fun of the game lies in balancing or strategically specializing your progress across the four advancement tracks (Military, Science, Exploration, and Technology).
As you progress through each track, you can perform the actions listed in that area, and the further you progress the more powerful the actions become.

  • In "Exploration", you acquire and place area tiles,
  • In "Military," you place outposts on regional tiles to expand your territory.
  • In "Technology," you can obtain technology cards and improve them to gain benefits such as resource acquisition.

If you move further along the track, you might even get some nice figurine landmarks.

Civilization individuality and strategic resource management

Each player is dealt a unique civilization card, each with different abilities.
The key to victory is to develop a strategy that takes advantage of the characteristics of this civilization.
You can also tell the story of your civilization by collecting Tapestry Cards.

Resource management is also an important factor.
Resources are needed to progress through the four development tracks, and when resources run out, you must perform an "income phase" to recover resources.
However, if this income phase is completed five times, the player's game will end.
The deciding factor in the game is how efficiently you use your resources and accumulate victory points.

A world filled with beautiful components

The appeal of "Tapestry" is not just its gameplay.
It features high-quality components that are visually pleasing, such as beautifully colored landmark figures and buildings to place on the capital sheet.
You can enjoy watching your civilization develop.

Actual playing experience

The flow of the game is relatively simple.
On your turn, you use resources to advance along one of the four tracks and perform the corresponding action.
Strategically develop your capital and expand your territory while maximizing the benefits of advancing the track.

Tapestry is a civilization development game, but it is designed with simple rules that make it easy to play.
While based on Civilization-style games, it has been thoroughly simplified to make it accessible while still retaining its strategic value.
